Chick-fil-a patios

Matt is prepping the integrally colored concrete for a basket weave stamp pattern. As the weather gets nicer Chick-fil-a is getting ready by making some patios with outdoor seating.

Concrete finishing

It's nice to do a good ol' concrete slab too. Not everyhing has to be
stamped or scored or colored concrete. The integral color here is
'portland cement gray'. This slab with a slick trowel finish should
make for a good concrete shop floor for decades to come.

Acid stained countertops

Are you trippin on how cool these countertops are? "They're made out
of concrete dude, no way?!" That's right my friend, they're concrete
tops with an acid color stain applied to the surface. A little sealer
to top it off and you have a unique set of kitchen countertops!

Retaining wall

Aaron pictured doing a fantastic job setting the first course of a
retaining wall. The first course is the toughest with these blocks, it
has to be perfect. Fortunately he is being assisted by Spartacus the
cat.

Concrete curbs

We cut out the asphalt, formed, and poured this concrete sidewalk and
curb in one day. It was a lot of work but looking back at this
concrete sidewalk and concrete curb, it was worth it. We are proud to
say we poured this concrete sidewalk and curb.

Atlanta Motor Speedway.

This is a finished concrete patio, sidewalk we did for AMS. Soon it
should be a new party area. It was placed in two pours and the logo
was saw cut then stained. Looks great.

Crownsville's faithful concrete crew

Over the past five months we've had the privilege of working with the
fine volunteers at the crownsville assembly hall of Jehovah's
witnesses. Much concrete has been poured and finished from feb. 09
through june 09. As beautiful as the concrete work is, it pales in
comparison to the beauty of the volunteers and all their fine work.
Thank you for the privilege of being part of such a wonderful project!

Some concrete steps would be helpful

A couple of concrete steps couldn't hurt...

A rockin walk at the ROCK Ranch

Here is a beautiful decorative stamped sidewalk recently completed at
the ROCK Ranch near Thomaston Ga. We really enjoyed working at the
ranch, and in the future if the goats and their treehouses need some
sidewalks or decorative countertops, we hope to lend a hand :)

where we came from and where we're going

These guys all worked in concrete together in the early 70's. That's
our dad on the right. The next picture is the crew today. I hope we turn out as well.

Working for free!

Matt is a bit tired. We teamed up with some other concrete crews and other volunteers and have poured 1000 yards in four Saturdays. You couldn't pay us to work this hard yet it's more fun than making money. The parking lot looks great. Nicely edged and broomed. We placed 30-40% with a truss screed, the rest was placed with handheld vibratory screeds. It was nicely graded and formed so everything is nice and flat. All saw cut with soft cut saws the same day. I think everyone involved was pretty proud of it.

White Concrete Countertops

Just installed white Portland countertops in south Atlanta. We also
polished them for a great finish.
